got the kindle version of this star wars visual encyclopedia book when it was on sale for two bucks. great bargain. but this book is meant to be read as a real physical book. so get the large hardcover (or paperback) version because you will want to flip through the pages like a coffee table picture book because that is how this book was designed. but the kindle version is good enough because the images were sharp and of course the kindle book is portable on my phone. nonetheless myself will eventually be tempted to get the hardcover version of this book.
